Black Panther Field Trip

I am a 6th grade teacher in Fruitvale, Oakland trying to raise funds to take my students to go see Black Panther.
Myself and a couple of other teachers plan to take a group of 70 students at the end of March. We will be teaching an amazing curriculum to analyze and understand the beautiful power, complexity, and importance of this film, especially for young people of color.
Please donate to help our students have an opportunity to go see Black Panther as a class. They have worked super hard this year discussing, researching, and organizing themselves to represent and talk about issues in our communities.
This would be a wonderful opportunity for our students to see a film made by an individual from the Oakland community. While also empowering our students to celebrate representation of people of color in a movie that they are excited to see!
Anything helps, please donate and help our Oakland youth enjoy a meaningful and exciting film!
