Help Me Fight Cancer

I am sure you are as shocked to read the header as I was to receive the phone call from my doc yesterday: January 11, 2017, a date I will never forget, when I learned I have cancer.  After seeing  a few different doctors and going through a few procedures over the last couple of months, Dr. Knowles at Texas Oncology said the words, "cervical cancer."  She described it as an aggressive, fast-growing cancer.  You just never think it will happen to you. I didn't. 
My life has abruptly changed: treatment starts tomorrow with a surgery. The results will determine how invasive the cancer is, and whether I will need a simple or radical hystorectomy (tentatively scheduled for Monday), and what follow-up treatement will look like. I am facing major and unexpected medical bills.
I believe my recovery depends on a positive attitude, and the love and support from friends and family.  If you feel that you can help financially, every dollar generously donated  towards my medical bills will make my battle that less stressful.
