Hi, I am Sharon Jacobsen....Reimar...wife of J. Robert Jacobsen ..Sing Lee. I am seeking help from our friends.
Bobs CLL ..Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia came back...out of remission after only 2 years...he is not a candidate for chemo....for it almost took his life the last time...so the doctors have opted to go with what they call targeted therapy....a pill...3 times a day. With Bob's insurance....the copay is $3000.00....problem is neither him or I have that right out of pocket. There are places that you can get funding...but being the end of the year all of those are shutting down. He needs it now. So I did find one ...that if I can prove I have spent a certain amount out of pocket for his meds...they than in turn will take care of it for as long as he needs it. This is going to be for a long time. Problem is here, his insurance pays for all of his other meds....but this is a level 5 med....so they will only pay 10,000.00 of it....sooo.. if I can get the first 3000.00 before say the 26th...get the med..send it to this company....than he will be set. I just want everyone to know..this is one of the hardest things for me to do ...and those of you that know Bob....how hard it is for him....asking....for this help. You also know we I would not if I could figure out any other way.
