Hello everyone! Thanks for taking a look at this page. I am asking you to spare a couple of dollars to help me spend one last summer marching with my second family, the Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps from Concord, CA. This will be my third and final year with the Blue Devils. Last year, we won the DCI World Championships and broke the high score record with a 99.65. I also won the Performer's Showcase for solo tuba.
With the Blue Devils, I spend all summer touring the United States by bus and performing our production for thousands of fans. This year will be extra special, in that we will be taking a plane to Boston to perform with the Boston Pops at Tanglewood.
This organization means so much to me, and I'd love to be able to spend one last summer with them before I hit the age limit. On top of $2800 for tour fees (which go to buses, schools we stay at, food, instruments, instructors, etc.), we have rehearsals once a month in California during the offseason. Plane tickets from Texas normally run around $300-$400.
I appreciate any sort of help, even if it's just $5 or simply sharing this page. Thank you for taking your time to read this and for all the help!
