DC Internship Fundraiser!

I have been selected to work with Senator Dick Durbin this summer as an intern in their office! This is an exciting opportunity, but moreover, it is an expensive one. I need your help!

As a student in elementary, middle, and high school, I struggled and worked to achieve educationally and financially. My hard work began to pay off as I entered my current school, Greenville University- a small Christian institution based in the Midwest. I saw great beauty in the education that I was receiving, but I wanted more. I wanted an opportunity to explore a world that I have yet to truly delve into: I wanted a view of the political sphere.

With the rising costs of education, and my only working a student job, however, this goal of finding housing is the most troubling; it seems impossible. Yet, I remained determined to turn this dream into a reality! By donating to this fund, you will be pouring into making this trip affordable, bringing me closer to my educational goal, and helping me to gain a wealth of experience that could be useful to making and creating change here in the state of Illinois!
