Ivanhoe College Outdoor Seating

We, the student council, are running a fundraising campaign to help provide outdoor seating and new learning areas. We kickstarted our campaign with a fundraising day which will include: a non uniform day, bake-off sale and a tombola on the 9th February and raised a fantastic £1300!

The final total needed will exceed the money made by our charity day so we would very much appreciate all your donations!!

This is why we need your donations:

Round Picnic Table : £589 each
Heavy Duty Picnic Table : £535 each
Octaganal Picnic Table : £595 each
Outdoor Covered Area : £5000

Buying and landscaping better seating areas on the playground will allow us as students more time with friends at lunchtime. This would benefit us in the long term as we will be able to improve and develop our social skills which will help us in our future jobs and careers. Having accessible seating areas outside would also encourage students to spend more time outside- to make Ivanhoe an even healthier and happier place to be. Finally, the seating area could also be used as a outdoor learning area ‘outdoor classroom’ to enhance our education and love of learning.
