Ivan Toney

Friday night Ivan was hit by a car while walking. He was left by the driver and someone found him and he was transported to University Medical in New Orleans. He is currently in the ICU and is still in critical condition. He has a long journey ahead of him. But Ivan is strong and I pray god gives him the strength to have a full recovery! I am setting up this go fund me for any exspences the family may need for Ivan. Ivan has touched so many souls in this community. Please help my dear friend in this time in need. 

This is the update as of today when I went to visit him! 

Ivan is still heavily sedated because of the failure of his lungs, and the pressure/swelling of his brain, he can not breath on his own, due to his lungs. He has lots of broken ribs and bones through out his body. This morning the dr came in to test him for responses and he responded when they asked him to open his eyes, he did so slightly, also he moved his toes when they asked him to. The Therapist are working with him as much as they can. HE still needs lots of prayers ,he has a long journey of healing and surgery's ahead of him. He will be going for surgery for many things once his lungs get stronger. He is in new Orleans, at University Medical Center. Please keep him and his family in your prays. I am so thankful I got to spend some time with you Ivan, your mom, step dad, sister and family today. They are amazing people and you are loved by so many! Stay strong brother, I love you so much! We are all praying and rooting for you!
