EMERGENCY APPEAL:
We need to mobilise big numbers in Bristol (and across the country) to hit the streets and demand an end to the devastating NHS crisis now and urgent major investment in our health and social system, starting with transport to the National Demonstration on February 3rd in London.
If you want to come on the next national demo and haven't yet bought coach tickets, they can be purchased here.
However, we need to raise at least £1000 to pay up front for coaches, whilst leaflets cost over £100 at short notice for 5,000.
We are currently very short on funds, being an entirely volunteer-run group.
Additionally, we do not believe that income should be a barrier for people who wish to participate in our actions, and this means we need to subsidise coach costs, which can be upwards of £800.
So we urgently need your help...
£5 supports one discounted coach place for unwaged persons.
£15 funds one coach place for those without funds.
£50 pays for thousands of leaflets.
£100 largely subsidises a coach, with tickets running at the low rate we offer to people generally.
Whatever you can spare will be greatly appreciated and go directly towards channeling widespread feelings of anger at government neglect of our health and social system, and compassion with its victims, into a powerful organised mass movement from below.
One that demands a fully-funded NHS and social care now, in alignment with the concerns of staff and patients, or which will make this a political crisis big enough and sustained enough to replace this government with one that will fulfill this mandate.
