Isma’s Birthday Boda

Hello friends, family, and anyone else who might find themselves reading this.
During my time in Uganda, I've met a number of people who make my life easier not only in terms of conveniences, but also friendships. I'd like to tell you about one of these individuals.
Isma is a 26-year-old bodaboda (morotcycle taxi) driver in Jinja, Uganda. I met him upon moving to this part of the country, and he has been my faithful driver and friend pretty much since.
A few weeks ago, I accidentally burnt my hand with boiling water. When another friend told me to go to a clinic, I called Isma to take me. Not only did he immediately come, he came to my door, helped me lock up (because I was down hand!), drove me to the clinic, waited with and for me, and then drove me home. He called several times over the next few days to make sure I was okay, and he even offered to bring me any groceries I needed. He did all this without asking for any money.
Three days ago, while I was out of town, I recieved a phone call from Isma informing me that he was going to have his bike taken from him by the end of next week, as he'd been renting it, and the owner wanted to sell it. Aside from the fact that his service has become a great benefit to me, it also means that if he doesn't find a replacement in the meantime, he'll lose his source of income, as well - an income that not only supports himself, but also contributes to his family's income.
It also happens that Isma's birthday is coming up in a few weeks. So here's what I need from you, if you're willing to accept the challenge:
I want to raise enough funds to purchase a new bike for Isma. This way, he won't be paying almost half his weekly wages to the person he's currently renting from, but also he'll be able to keep working. Any and all donations would be greatly appreciated!
Please, please, please help me make this happen!
(My birthday also happens to be the date his bike will be taken from him, so I'd happily accept donations for this in lieu of any gifts you might want to buy for me!!)
