Ismail's Fight Against Cancer

Dear all family, friends and valued readers:
Ismail is a bright, caring and ambitious individual who loves to be around family and friends. He has been fighting osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, for the past two and a half years. At the young age of fourteen, he was diagnosed when doctors discovered a tumor on his knee. He has had chemotherapy, radiation and several surgeries at the Alberta Children Hospital and Foothills hospital, in Calgary.
Throughout his battle with cancer, Ismail managed to continue to pursue his studies, work and attended high school. He never gave up on his himself because that's what he does, he aims high, focuses on his goals and strives to achieve them. But, he can't win this battle alone.
Unfortunately, the bone cancer has spread throughout his body and doctors advised that he has stage 4 cancer and there are no further options. At the moment, Ismail is in pallative care where medications are given to him to manage his pain.
Our last hope now is to seek alternative treatment that have promising results and are unfortunately not available in Canada.
This fund has been created to treat Ismail at a clinic in Tijuana, Mexico where he will receive alternative cancer treatments and immunity therapies. The treatment is scheduled for three weeks and the funds raised will go towards his testings, treatments and accommodation.
