ISKCON Deities Installation Brazil

This fundraiser is specifically destinated to the installation of Sri Sri Nitai Goura – Sundara Deities, at the Goura Vrindavana community temple, in Brasil.

"Gaura Vrindavana" community was established in 1986. Ten years ago, Purushatraya Swami, the spiritual leader of the community, began a campaign to build a temple.

Thanks to the generous donation of many devotees, a beautiful and attractive temple
was inaugurated in 2016.
 
For some years, the murtis of Sri Sri Gaura Nitai have been waiting to be installed. Signs show us that it is now time for these lovely murtis to be settled on the altar of the temple and so we can begin regular worship.

Once again, we count on the goodwill and generosity of our direct friends and all the
members of the great family of Srila Prabhupada’s followers to make the right arrangements for the installation of the Deities. We humbly extend this opportunity to devotees all over the word. In the service of Srila Prabhupada’s

Born in Rio de Janeiro in 1945 • He joined ISKCON in 1976 • Among the ten top book distributors in the world in 1977 • He took sannyasi initiation in 1985 • Preaching field: Brasil, Portugal, Spain, Argentina and Uruguay • Initiating guru since 1994 • Spiritual leader of the “Gaura Vrindavana” rural community in Paraty, Brazil, since 1998.

 
Our specific goal is to raise 15,000€ which will cover:

List of arrangements for the installation of Sri Sri Goura-Nitai in
Goura Vrindavana and respective costs

 
1. Pujari’s room - hire a professional carpenter to build
various cabinets for storage of clothes, ornaments and
paraphernalia; install the altar door; as well as other arrangements to assist the deities. (EUR 2000)

2. Kitchen of the deities - build the kitchen from scratch, with the equipments and utensils needed to cook the offerings; acquire all
paraphernalia required; place cabinets and shelves in the dispensary. (EUR 1500)

3. Sewing room for the deities; sewing machine, table and cabinets. (EUR 1000)

4. Clothing for the deities; acquire clothing made in India, textiles and ornaments. (EUR 2000)

5. Ornaments: crowns, necklaces, ornaments in general. (EUR 1500)

6. A Garuda murti of 40 cm to be installed in the column at the entrance to theTemple. (EUR 1500)

7. Two spaces inside the temple for large paintings on the wall. (EUR 1000)

8. Renovate the temple garden and improve the lake. (EUR 1000)

9. Prepare an area to grow flowers for the deities, with greenhouse,
and irrigation. (EUR 1500)

10. One or two good dairy cows. (EUR 2000)
