Ever since the sport of Canoe Slalom became a permanent member of the Olympic family in 1992 the biggest and most prestigious goal for Swedish canoeing has been to qualify and race at the Games. Many very talented people have tried but it took until to 2016 for Sweden to finally have its first slalom paddler on the start line at the biggest event the world has to offer.

It was a sublime moment for me as an athlete and for Sweden as a paddling nation.

It is a bit of a cliche, but success in sport is really a team effort and without the support and help from all the fans, sponsors, friends, family, training partners and coaches making the first ever Olympic spot for Sweden in 2016 would not have been possible.

Now we are looking forward to and taking aim at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.

The goal with this campaign is to make you part of the team and create the right conditions to realise the Tokyo dream!

The money raised will be used to cover some of the preparation cost in the lead up to Olympic qualification at the World Championships in Spain in September 2019 and beyond.

Together we can continue to write sport history. Donate and be part of the dream!

Huge success!

The first three World Cups of the season is behind me and I am very happy with the way I have been paddling.

Finishing 14th at the World Cup in Slovakia and following up with a great 12th place in qualification in Slovenia, also reaching the top 8 nations to show that I have the capacity for the Swedish Olympic Committee to send me to the Tokyo Olympic Games!

Now I will have a short break and then start my preparation for the next step - to qualify the national Olympic spot at the World Championships in September!

I would like to give a big thanks to everybody who has helped me this year! It is an amazing experience to have that level of support and it really makes a difference!

Victory! This weekend I have raced at the 71th edition of the International Tatra Slalom. It is the oldest continuous canoe slalom race on the planet and part of the World Ranking Series. I am super happy to win this years race in front of many top paddlers and it gives a good feeling before the European Championships later this month!
