Helping Hands for Isaac

In April of 2016, Isaac Freeland a student at Summit Elementary in Oconomowoc was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.  He has gone through things a child at the age of 8 should not have to endure. The Freeland Family has had to adjust to a new normal. Since diagnosis, Isaac has received chemotherapy on a regular basis both at Children’s Hospital and at home.  He has had too many needle pokes to count and has required a number of blood transfusions. His energetic little self has been forced to slow down as he deals with the effects of chemotherapy and illnesses.  The trips to Children’s Hospital for chemotherapy, unexpected illnesses and  time off from work and school have been both emotionally and financially challenging!
