Irina's Gourmet Bakery

I am the founder and owner of Irina’s Gourmet Bakery, a local favorite in Overland Park, KS. Thanks to my wonderful customers, the bakery has outgrown its current space and needs to grow. That’s why I’m asking for your help.
Since 2005, my dedication to the art of baking and confections has resulted in award-winning custom-made cakes, pastries, breads and other delectable bakery goods – all made from scratch. My small kitchen also offers a limited menu for breakfast and lunch.
And that’s now a happy problem. We need more space to accommodate our growing numbers of customers and to welcome new ones. One specific goal is to offer made-to-order breakfast and lunch menus.
This is not just an effort to add customers; a larger workspace would allow us to increase our charity work supplying bakery items to schools, hospitals, senior facilities and other good causes.
I started learning my craft in in the bakery section of a local supermarket many years ago. But I wanted to do something more creative, something both artistic and tasty to bring joy to my customers. That was the motivation for Irina’s Gourmet Bakery. And now I want to take that motivation to a new level with a larger, more compatible facility. And even though we are doing well, we can’t afford the new space and equipment on our own.
Your donation will allow us to serve a greater number of customers, offer a wider variety of menu items, and increase its charitable work in the surrounding community. Your generosity will let me continue to offer an alternative to big chain bakeries and to serve the community that has welcomed us and sustained us over the years.
