iPad for Joshua

My sweet friends car was broken into. In their car was an iPad, but not just any iPad. This iPad was only way of communication they have with their son. Joshua is a 6 year old boy who has autism. Joshua communicates on an app called LAMP on his iPad. Joshua only knows about about 12 words and cannot communicate with his family or at school without this device. We searched the best options and we can get a new iPad for about 500.00. We believe we can recover the app LAMP, which typically runs $300.
Any funds that exceed the $500 will help to replace the $100 dollar window that was broken. Please help this sweet family who would never ask for help, yet give you the shirt off their back if you needed it.
