A speech therapist, a special education teacher and a mom of a young woman with Down Syndrome came together to start a social enterprise that will change perceptions of individuals with disabilities. Our livelihoods have been elevated by our personal and professional relationships with people with disabilities. We believe we can fill a void in community livelihoods with Bridget's Bread & Butter.
About Us: We offer an experience that changes perceptions of people with disabilities, through a person-first business model. The integration of food, art, and inclusive employment is our recipe for spreading change. As a social enterprise, we maximize our impact on community livelihoods by investing in each other.
Vision: Inspiring communities to embrace the value and potential of all people.
Mission: We change perceptions of people with disabilities by integrating food, art, and inclusive employment.
Our short term goal is to purchase a small commercial kitchen to prepare and sell goods online and at pop-up events while implementing our inclusive employment model. Funds raised will be utilized to achieve this goal! With your help we will continue to invest in "Livelihoods on the Rise".
Our long term goal is to open a brick and mortar location offering a unique experience which incorporates the development and sale of both food and art in an inclusive environment.
