Interweave Dance Theatre - "Under Our Skin"

For the first time, Interweave Dance Theatre is reaching out to you hoping you'll help support our 2019 concert, Under Our Skin.
Under Our Skin will feature dances inspired by the inner workings of the human body. For this project, 12 diverse choreographers will find inspiration through the various cells, tissues, organs, systems, and/or structures found within the human body – all things under the skin. This performance will make you think about what’s under your skin in a whole new way. Our 2019 concert will feature jazz dance, modern, and contemporary pieces by locally and internationally known choreographers. Expect both thought-provoking, edgy work and impressive athleticism along with the touches of the signature theatrical humor that IDT is known for. Directed by Special Guest, Christy McNeil Chand.
Your generous donation will go toward paying the artists for their time, energy, creativity, passion, research, and of course their amazing creations and performances.
Those who donate $50 or more will be thanked in our program and everyone who donates will receive a shout out on our social media ... unless you don't want one, you private donator, you.

Interweave Dance Theatre is the resident company of the Boulder Jazz Dance Workshop
ABOUT US – Based on a vision of the expressive capacity of dance, Interweave Dance Theatre’s mission is to present new works that fuse dance genres, incorporate varied theatrical elements, emphasize musicality and examine our world with compassion and humor. For each project, we assemble a community of innovative and diverse dance artists who share the intent of communicating a unifying theme and reaching the audience in a meaningful way.
Interweave Dance Theatre is comprised of Colorado natives, Boulder residents, University of Colorado dance program alumni (as well as alumni of various other programs such as Cornish College in Seattle and UC Santa Barbara), dance artists from Denver, Colorado Springs, Southern and Northern California, Seattle, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Minneapolis, New York, etc. These dear friends and fellow artists come together each year, once a year in Boulder, Colorado at the University of Colorado, to work together to create a unique evening of new dance works inspired by a single theme.
