International Students Fire Recover
Donation protected
Early on March 16 a fire broke out in a house divided into apartments across from Northern State University. None of the people were injured. Two International students had apartments in the house. One of the students lost one pet in the fire, so far another one of his pets is still missing. Thanks to donations they have some small household items and furniture, but they have many things they still need to replace like textbooks, laptops, and immigration documents. Myself and all who know them want to help them get back to their new normal as quickly as possible so they can focus on school. We cannot replace their sentimental items or beloved animals, but any help is appreciated with what can be replaced. Thank you.
Due to privacy, please respect that I will not reveal the names of the students. If you know me, you should know that I will make sure all funds are used for the students in need. If you live nearby please consider sending funds directly to them/me at my office at NSU.
The funds donated will be split evenly among the two international students.
Other people affected by the fire have fundraising sites established for them. Please consider helping them too.
