The IFYE Association of the USA, is a Premier International rural-based Exchange Program for young adults 19 years of age and older. IFYE is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The IFYE Association of
the USA alumni and other donors contribute about 85% of the program costs. The $3,000 is the elected participants’ contribution for their 3 or 6-month experience with host families. Having met the requirements of the IFYE Association of the USA, Inc. Mikhala Martin is approved to use a GoFundMe page for fundraising. Hello! My name is Mikhala Martin and I am a student at The Ohio State University majoring in Biochemical Science. As a child growing up, I have always had a love for animals. In fact, I went to trade school for Pre-veterinary medicine for two years. However, over the years my love for animals has spread to Agriculture. Through being a FFA Officer and attending classes at OSU: Agricultural Technology Institute I have learned that Ag is a beautiful and rewarding career. That is why this summer I have the opportunity to travel abroad to Norway! This experience would help me further learn about Agriculture in different cultures and create ever lasting friendships along the way. The three months in Norway living with host families will fully immerse me in the culture and giving me a broader perspective on the people, culture, and Agriculture. This international cultural Exchange experience will be a far richer encounter then if I was a tourist. That is why I ask, would you consider helping offset the $3,000 program fee? Any amount would be greatly appreciated. Upon returning, I would be honored to share my experiences with you or any groups you feel could benefit from hearing my story!
