Glad To Be Alive No Matter The Cost

Let me start with god is so good! And because of him, I'm here to see another day! He isn't ready for me quite yet cause my work here isn't done. So this battle has been well worth it!
I don't expect much and if all you can help with is $5.00 that would be a hugh blessing in itself!
My Battle started well over 2 years ago! Found out after 3 emergency surgeries I ended up with deadly MRSA. Who would of thought at 39 I'd be facing wanting to choose life or a breast! Well after talking to 2 surgeons found out removal was the only way to stay here. So I did just that. Glad and thankful to be here after my battle and months off from work, it was time to get my life back together and start reconstruction process.
Thinking and being told by doctors insurance would handle the bill, I received an email from blue cross of Alabama they will not cover reconstruction which has already been started, I've been told to come close to looking no more like a freak of nature it will be my responsibility to pay for the left side!
They slapped me with a $17,000 bill and the right side will cost upwards of $35000 out of pocket!
Not including time off from work without pay.
I'm reminded everyday now that I look in the mirror of the horrible infection that almost took my life.
I just want to be whole again. Stop the freak show in the mirror and hold my head up high again. I've continued to work after this last surgery because I'm thankful everyday to be here.
I've paid my insurance for 13 years and never dreamed if they medically remove a body part they wouldn't do everything to put it back on! Disability insurance canceled me after 1 claim. So I'm asking to help curb the cost. I work for Tuscaloosa City Schools and I'm glad I'm able to see my babies again. So the battle has been well worth it.
