On October 25, 2016, Bud Brown, Vice President & General Manager of KTXS-TV, passed away leaving behind his five year old son and wife.
If you ever had to privilege to meet Bud, you would know what an extraordinary person he was. It is hard to put into words the many experiences we all had with Bud...from his crazy stories to his great impersonations, he could make you laugh. Not only did he have a great personality but his heart was with his employees, always putting others before himself.
Most of us knew him at work, but there was another role that he excelled at even more, being a dad. His son meant the world to him. You could see Bud's eyes light up every time he told a story about his son, showed you pictures, or told you how well he was doing in school.
The funds we raise through this account will be added to the trust fund that he established for his son.
