Injured Worker Fund

I was injured on my shoulder loading huge packages onto three trucks on February 2015.  I filled out an injury report and was sent to a doctor who would not believe I was hurt.   I begged workmans compensation for another doctor and they refused.  I was put back to full maximum duty by the workmans compensation doctor after three months.  I told my manager it was not true, I am injured.  She threaten to fire me if I did not do my job.   I went to a doctor on my own.  Whe he did an MRI I had a torn cartilage and tendon and my shoulder had frozen by then.  He did slap surgery the following week.  However, my shoulder was not healing.   In Novemeber 2015, he did another MRI and gave me the picture in the profile.  The picture is from the surgery.  The center left picture is what it my shoulder is supposed to look like, and looked like after the surgery.  He said, it was red again from inflammation and the MRI only shown little improvement.  That was the last time I saw the doctor because he found out the workmans compensation case was still open.  I have had no medical care to help my shoulder heal.  I hurt everyday.  I try to excercise to get back working but I end up hurting worse.  The let me go at Supervision position in December 2015.  I have an attorney, the doctor who did my surgery told them I fell and since there was no report on a fall I was denied.  I have appealed but the lawyer says he refuses to testify.  It is almost two years since the injury and one year and half since I have been unemployed.  I am facing homelessness every month begging people for help.  I have two dogs I love very dearly and have been my best companion through it all.  I am afraid of losing them and all the possession I have left.  Een if I was thrown out, I would have to leave everything behind because I have no where to put anything.  Anyway, I never saw it coming.  I pray every night God will intervene and make it right.  I want my shoulder to be fixed so I can work again and my bills to be paid.  Sincerely, Sharon Hager
