Indy's battle with stage 4 cancer

Indy (Indigo) has always been dedicated to helping make her home and community a better place. From traveling across country a couple of times when I needed to augment my education, to providing help with the many responsibilities at our daughter's school and volunteering in the community.
Things were going well, Aydan was having a wonderful time at her school, I had found an excellent place to work; and then the anvil dropped... she was diagnosed with breast cancer. After having a double mastectomy in October, she was hoping to lead a normal life, but unfortunately, new tests showed a very aggressive stage 4 cancer which had spread to her lungs and liver. Both Indy and I have always been ones to say, "Whatever is needed, let's get it done." But now we are faced with even more difficulties. She needs to travel to Austria urgently for a very specialized treatment with expert doctors which will cost over $70,000.
We are asking for your help in reaching this goal. Life is SO precious; Aydan needs her mom's help to navigate the difficult times of being a teen. Indy needs to be able to shed a mother's tears of joy and pride as Aydan graduates from college.
