Enlightened Life is raising funds for grants to indigenous people in support:
Organic agriculture and renewable energy systems for native villages
Native-owned tourism enterprises
Sustaining indigenous spiritual traditions and culture
Project 1
In the American continent, we are supporting a Navajo family to start their own tour business, taking visitors into their sacred lands. Currently all tour operators are non-native people, however, they hire Navajo guides because they are required to do by law. Yet, they only pay the Navajo guide a tiny percentage of what they receive. You can help a Navajo family start a business that will bring the joy of entrepreneurship and income to native people. They have the rights to the sacred land already - let's help them get their own business dedicated to sharing these special places with others.
Project 2
In the South Pacific we are supporting natives of Vanuatu to set up solar power in their village. Currently they have only generators to power their tourism business - a restaurant and bunglow accomodations on the beach. They also use generators to power their school and medical clinic as well as their homes. Funds will be used to purchase, ship and install solar technology to help them keep their village off the grid and ensure they have a sustainable future.
Project 3
In Sri Lanka, native Vedda and Tamil temples and villages have been pillaged and destroyed by members of a violent Buddhist sect. This sect wishes to destroy all spiritual buildings and ways of worship and life that are different from their own. We provide support for native people to rebuild and protect their temples and sacred rites.
Project 4
In the Philippines, we are supporting the native Maharlikans to create an organic farm that will provide food for the tribal people and serve as an agricultural business providing organic produce to local stores and restaurants. Currently, they have no equipment, seeds or educational support but they do have a willing spirit and plenty of workers. Help us provide them with the tools they need to create a healthier, wealthier and sustainable way of life for their tribe.
We are always open to receiving requests for funding support from indigenous groups, families, tribes or individuals.
Please show the indigenous that you care for their spirit and want to preserve their way of life. Help us help them to protect and restore their native way of life, and heal Mother Earth. Thank you! We appreciate your support!
