When we think of changing the education paradigm, we often think of a top-down approach that demands more assessments and stricter accountability measures. Perhaps the solution to revolutionizing our education system is more related to empowering our students and providing the resources to achieve their ambitions. We believe that integrating technology in education can initiate this shift in the education system.

Our names are Aishwarya Suresh, Megha Sreekanth, and Naina Mishra. We are highschool students who are grateful to have received quality education. We are passionate about transforming the education system in low economic zones. We began this journey as interns for Mantra4Change, a non-profit dedicated to education development in Bangalore. Through an intensive month of volunteering, we realized that the most pressing issue was not student aptitude, but the lack of educational resources. After reflecting on our own education journeys, we noticed the vital role technology plays in understanding and practicing concepts. We believe that the benefits of technology should extend to low-income areas as well. Hence, we are launching a project to bring twelve laptops to an aided school.
