Independence Day Sweet 16
Donation protected
When sadness and despair are all you have known, a gentle touch can change your life.
On July 4th, 2017 16 dogs were found near the Warrensburg Animal Shelter. Through collaborative efforts by Warrensburg Animal Control, Warrensburg Police Department, Warrensburg Parks & Recreation, and shelter staff, these dogs were rescued, and brought to WAS for treatment and care. The dogs are all in need of grooming as their coats are severely matted, and they are flea infested. Many of the dogs have dental and other medical issues that will need to be addressed and most are female dogs that are possibly pregnant.
The Warrensburg Animal Shelter is currently accepting donations to help care for these dogs. Items, or monetary donations can be accepted at the Warrensburg Animal Shelter.
For a list of items we could use, please visit our webpage at http://www.warrensburg-mo.com/departments/animal-shelter/ or visiting our Facebook page.
Please share their story or consider donating toward their care to help these dogs understand that the darkness of life they lived before is in the past and we will work to give them a bright future
