Help needed for severe nerve damage.

Beschermde donatie
It is really hard for me to ask for help as I have ALWAYS been strongly independent. I can no longer work in gainful employment so, my income is pretty limited.  Now, I'm seeking out sources to maintain my quality of life. I'm needing a wheelchair accessible van as my personal safety is at risk. It all started back in October of 2016.  I had extreme nerve pain in both my hands/fingers along with my left hand going numb and the thumb and two closest fingers in my right hand. I saw a hand surgeon thinking it was my carpal tunnel symptoms returning after both hands have had surgery in 2011. The doctor asked me to make another appointment with my primary doctor and see about getting an MRI that it is more than likely coming from my neck. In December 2016 I finally had an MRI done. Upon being home for a few hours I got a phone call with the serious news. I was told to go to the ER asap. I had herniated a second disc in my neck along with a LARGE bone spur that had flattened my spinal cord. ( At 35 I had my first cervical fusion.)  At the ER, my BP was 187/143 as my body was showing signs of pain. By this time, I wasn't feeling any pain too much as the signals were blocked off.  Unfortunately, the on call Neurosurgeon refused to come in to operate. He felt that since it wasn't caused by an accident, I could wait and schedule surgery with the Neurosurgeon that sent me to the ER.  Surgery was 2 1/2 weeks later, January 2017.  I did suffer some permanent spinal cord damage along with a nerve disorder and severe arthritis which also goes down both arms and into my hands. After 4 months into recovery I felt something isn't right. My walking is really bad, I had immense nerve pain down my right buttocks all the way down to my right foot. I asked my primary for an MRI of my lumbar spine as I knew I had only 2 slightly bulging discs. Upon the results, I was sent to another Neurosurgeon.  I was told that L2/L3 all the way down to L5/S1 are showing significant bulging in some areas. I also have my MRI/EMG showing that 3 areas in between the vertebrae is completely black.  I have 2 exit nerve areas that are starting to close off as well. The Neurosurgeon doesn't want to do surgery unless it's an emergency as I only have a 35% surgical success rate. That's 1% out of 35% that I may come out okay after surgical intervention.  After my neck issue, I was told that I am the worst case the office has ever had or seen and my long list of medical issues are listed as COMPLEX. As of now, I can't leave the house without my powerchair.  I walk in baby steps in my home but, the more I move the worse I get. With the nerve damage and severe arthritis, I have moments where my legs will either feel like lead, or are wobbly and I collapse depending on how much I walk or where I sit.  I also have chronic pain syndrome. I have recently had two spinal cord stimulators surgically implanted to help control the severe pain I live with daily without too many medications. I need new ramps built and a wheelchair van in order to continue my independence and mobility. It will GREATLY help me as I don't feel safe.  All I ask is give what you can and I greatly appreciate your time and help. Thank you!
