In loving memory of Ivan Sandoval
A smile is worth a thousand words and such brilliance brings with it many more memories. Our friend and loved one, Ivan, made sure that his smile would never fade away as his face always brought with him a laughter filled with joy. Nonetheless, he wanted to be remembered as funny always.
Today we mourn Ivan’s absence from our lives; but moreover, we cherish the moments that we got to spend with him. Such moments defined his character and charisma. Even though we are left with nothing but memories, let us remember no less our interactions with him will be a reminder that life is too short not to embrace one another. Ivan was a great example of how to live life.
His absence is already so heart-felt in our classes and in our lives; and moreover, his friendship amongst us will be forever missed. As hard as it is to fathom the fact that he has gone away so early in the realm of this world, we understand that he is in a better place.
As a gesture of the sunshiny smile that Ivan bestowed upon us all, we, the Warrior Battalion, would like to encourage everyone to take the time to express such love towards others. Today is not too late as tomorrow may never be.
As the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, the school family at North Atlanta High School would like extend our condolences to Ivan’s friends, family, and anyone affected by his loss of life. As a gesture of our love and support, we ask for your consideration of financial support to help Ivan’s family as they grieve and as they should not need to worry about unforeseen costs related to Ivan’s untimely departure from the reign of this world.

Una sonrisa vale más de mil palabras y tal brillo trae consigo muchas más memorias. Nuestro amigo y querido Iván siempre se aseguró que su sonrisa nunca se desvaneciera, mas que estuvo llena de felicidad. Y, ésta lo seguía todos los días de su vida. Pues, él quiso ser recordado como una persona simpática por siempre.
Hoy lamentamos la ausencia de Iván de nuestras vidas. Además, apreciamos los momentos que tuvimos con él. Tales momentos defininieron su carácter y charisma. Aunque no nos quedan más que recuerdos, recordemos que nuestras interacciones con él serán un recordatorio de que la vida es demasiada corta para no apoyarnos uno al otro. Iván fue un gran ejemplo de como pasarla bien.
Su ausencia ya está en el sentido del corazón en nuestras clases y en nuestras vidas. Además, su Amistad entre nosotros siempre será extrañada. Así, es difícil de aceptar que él se fue tan temprano de este mundo. Sin embargo, celebramos que él está en un lugar mejor.
Tal como es el ademán de una sonrisa brillante que Iván nos dio a todos nosotros, El Batallón Guerrero, nos gustaría fomentar a todos a tomar el tiempo de expresar tanto amor igual a los demás de día tras día. Ya que el conjunto es mayor que la suma de las partes, la familia escolar en North Atlanta High School nos gustaría compartir estas condolencias a los amigos, la familia y a cualquier persona afectada por la pérdida de nuestro hijo fallecido: Iván.
Como un gesto comunitaro de nuestro amor, pedimos su consideración de apoyo financiero para ayudar a la familia de Iván. Así, no tiene que preocuparse por los gastos de este imprevisto suceso con la intempestiva salida de Iván Sandoval.
