In Memory of Thomas Gassner

After being diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer, Thomas Gassner passed away with his family by his side on October 5th, 2017.
I am a close friend of Kendall and her family and would like to help them in their time of need. No daughter or wife should ever have to go through the unbearable grief of losing a father/husband.
Thomas Gassner was an incredibly loving father to Jordan, Bryce, and Kendall and a magnificent husband to Georgene. His love for his family was well known, and he was always there with a big smile supporting the ones he loved. It brings me great sadness to grieve the loss of a wonderful life.
Through his diagnosis of cancer, beginning in late August of 2017, he was supported and loved by his four favorite girls, along with friends and family. This diagnosis caught everyone off guard, but his family did the best they could to support him and love him in the final few months of his life.
Tom will always be remembered as the funny, strong, loving, fedora-wearing father by his family and friends.
I met Tom earlier this spring, visiting Kendall’s home. He was watching the Coachella 2017 live feed when he noticed Georgene and him in the background (for just second) on the youtube video. He immediately paused the tv, did a dance, and proceeded to call all of his daughters to tell share the exciting news. I will never forget this moment or the energy he shared with everyone in the room. This is just an example of the bright light that shined inside of him.
I am asking you—friends and family—to help the Gassner family in this time of grief. His memory will be cherished and remembered forever. Anything helps in this time of need, as we remember and celebrate the wonderful life Thomas Gassner shared.
