We would like to announce the sudden passing of our mother Susan Izzo Novak. Our Mom was the most amazing, loving, and caring person in the world. She was always friendly to everyone she met and can light up the room with her beautiful smile. She loved her grandchildren, Joe Jr. and Cooper, more than anything in the world and treated her youngest son's dog, Payton, as her own. Chicago was in her heart and soul and no-one could ever take a better picture of Lake Michigan at sunrise. She looked forward this year to her St. Priscilla 8th grade class reunion and meeting up with old friends she may have regretfully lost touch with.
Although she struggled much after we lost our father in 2014, she provided the love and support to keep our family going and strong. Our mother was always known to bounce back during tough times but the death of her loving husband, illness, and scant financial resources created obstacles too difficult for anyone to overcome and as humble of a person as she was, she often chose to battle through by herself, without the help of others...
We would like to give our mother the best funeral we can and would like to request donations in her memory that would be directly contributed to the funeral costs.
