My mother, Sonia Coletti absolutely loved Dr. Meighan Valero, ND and the staff at Valero Wellness. One of her biggest wishes was to help those who are unable to pay for naturopathic therapies such as holistic nutrition and natural medicine.
Many battling cancer as well as cancer survivors choose to go the natural route and take control of their health by naturopathic alternatives. Individuals have looked into naturopathic and holistic medicine which is a system of healing that focuses on supporting and stimulating the body’s ability to heal itself. It focuses on the whole person, rather than on a person’s illness. Treatments include special diets, nutritional counseling, herbal vitamins and mineral remedies.
During Sonia’s battle with breast cancer, she had received treatment from Meighan’s practice. Sonia received vitamin IV’s between her chemo therapy treatments and truly found that it provided her with more energy and a boost to her immune system. While receiving treatment, Sonia met other patients just like her that felt the benefits of naturapathic remedies. Being the loving person she is, Sonia wished that these treatments can be made available to those cancer patients who do not have the financial means to obtain them.
In life, Sonia always thought of others and always helped them in any way she could. It is through her kindness, she wanted to continue to spread awareness and love hoping that these treatments can assist others.
We honour Sonia for her legacy she leaves behind and ask those to donate and support this great cause.
