In Memory of Leon (Leo) Shaver


Leon (Leo) Shaver was an amazing human being.  Leo's family and friends meant the world to him.  My son didn't just love, he loved with all of who he was.  He genuinely cared for and cherished every person he came in contact with.  My son extended himself and gave everything he had to those he loved and befriended.

Leo ultimately wanted everyone to be happy, he encouraged love and respect, he motivated and encouraged his friends to love themselves and to be happy with who they are in their own skin.  With all of the love and encouragement he gave to everyone else, my son struggled with his own depression but nobody could see it because of who he was always smiling, laughing, dancing , loving with his entire being.

For those who have asked if they could help with his services, we would like to raise funds not only for the service we had for family in Sacramento, but to have a memorial for his family of friends in the Los Angeles Area.  We would also like to donate a portion of the funds raised to a charity for depression and suicide prevention, in Leo's honor.

Our family would like to thank everyone for their kind expressions of sympathy and prayers throughout this difficult time. We love each and every one of you...God Bless
