In memory of Karis Liberty Hope Rosales

On Oct 25 2019, my best friend Mary lost her

baby girl Karis. Our lives are changed forever due to unforeseen complication. Here is her story:

I am heartbroken  to share this- but our world has been turned upside down- our god’s arms has been around us through this all. Thanks to the loving community we are part of and grateful to be. 

I went into labor around 4PM- the labor progressed so fast, I couldn’t even leave the house- when the midwife arrived, she noticed Karis’s  heat rate dropped and I had to be rushed to the ER for an emergency C section- unbeknownst to all of us, my uterus had ruptured at some point during the labor - Karis and the placenta were pushed out of the uterus and into my abdomen Karis did not make  it  we are so broken- I can’t talk right now- we are grieving so bad. 

Our Doctors said that in their 60 years combined, they never seen anything like this- they were surprised I didn’t bleed to death, and it’s a miracleI’m even alive.  I’m so grateful for our birth team and for all the wonderful staff and nurses.
