In Memory of Juan Sisalima

Juan Honorio Sisalima, 45, passed away on June 20, 2017 at 5:25pm at his home located in Jackson Heights, New York. 

Juan leaves behind his wife Maria Criollo, 44, son, Matthew, 12 and two daughters, Evelyn, 7, and Johanna, 4.

Our family will always remember Juan for his crazy sense of humor, laid-back attitude, strong work ethic, and generosity. But most importantly, Juan will forever be remembered as a great husband, father, son, brother, uncle and cousin. Juan was my cousin and one of my fondest memories of him is when he took me and my little brother to the movie theaters every Saturday to see the latest Disney movies. Sometimes, we watched the same movie twice. In fact, he took us wherever we wanted over the weekend just so my parents can peacefully go to work and take longer shifts to make ends meet. And this is just a glimpse of the kindest things he did for his family. Just ask his nephew, he'd tell you what an awesome uncle he was. Moreover, his sweet wife, Maria, would tell you how funny, loving, optimistic and selfless Juan truly was. And just as he took care of us, it is time we do the same...

This gofundme page is dedicated to raise funds for Juan's wife and children who heavily relied on him for financial and emotional support. While the family is trying their best to lend a helping hand, the expenses of the funeral and additional fees are too high for a tiny family to handle on their own.
