We lost a beautiful soul yesterday...a great mom to her beloved daughter Lauren, an amazing sister, friend, daughter and aunt. Anyone who knew Deedee will remember her for the warmest of hearts, the biggest most beautiful of smiles, and the hardiest of laughs.
She lost her battle to cancer, but didn’t go down without a fight. But because she was unable to work for the past several months, she has no life insurance policy and her savings was eaten up by monthly/medical bills.
The depth of her love for her family and friends (and Pirates and Steelers) is immeasurable. She wanted desperately to make sure she could leave something for Lauren. We initially set up this fund to give her the funeral she deserves, but we would use any extra to set up an educational fund for her daughter. In lieu of flowers, if you could contribute to this GoFundMe, we would be eternally grateful.
