On April 29th, 2019 around 5:30 PM, a child walked up to the front steps of Constance Thompson-Gumbs' residence in Conaree, St Kitts to give her a few coins in exchange for a small snack. Chips, local candy, and juice were amongst some of the treats she sold to the children just to make ends meet. As he pushed open the door, he found Constance on the floor, not breathing and injured from significant wounds to the body... to that child and that neighborhood she was 'Consie'. To her 6 children, she was 'Mom'. To her 15 grandchildren was 'Grandma'
On April 29th, 2019 just before 5:30 pm our 77-year-old grandmother who lived alone in a community she loved, was robbed and murdered.

My family is angry, we are confused, we are heartbroken but nothing can bring her back. Instead, we ask for your help. My grandmother had 6 children and 15 grandchildren all of which she loved dearly and wanted nothing more for us to be together and love one another so that is our goal.
My grandmother's services will be held in St Kitts. Due to this unexpected tragedy, we did not have time to financially prepare for this trip and we do not have the funds to get everyone there to say their last goodbyes. Any help is truly, sincerely appreciated.
