In memory of Connor Arthur

Donation protected
Connor Arthur, a valley resident, was born, Sunday, June 9th 2002, and on Sunday, November 17th, 2019 suddenly passed away from AML, Acute Myeloid Leukemia known as a cancer of the blood and bone marrow. For your awareness AML has visible signs including non-ending nose bleeds and bruising of the arms; our Connor did not display any of these symptoms.

Aside from AML, Connor was clinically diagnosed with Autism and unspecified psychiatric disorders, but the ailments will never define our Connor because in our eyes he was determined to persevere. For all who know him, describe him to be a proper young man who wore his heart on his sleeve, even if he never understood or saw his heart on his sleeves.  He was completely smart, humble, witty, and discreetly expressed concerns for others, if someone was out of line, he would quietly let them know.

As a private humanitarian, Connor express his concerns to family about the struggles he sees the world going through. So compassionate about others, on occasions Connor made his Mother, Sharley, drive him around the Tempe area so he could hand out homemade sandwiches to the local Valley Homeless.

Connor also loved his family, especially his little sister Morgan and little brother Nicky. It was important to Connor to be the best role model he could for all who were younger than him. For his birthday celebration, his only requests were his favorite foods and family.

Outside of family, Connor was a naturally talented artist, and was accepted to the New School for Arts and Academics in Tempe where his painting of Deadmau5 was displayed at the Mesa Art Museum for a Student Exhibition.

Connor’s hobbies included distant walks, swimming, reading, YouTubing, Traveling, and especially gaming, among his favorites include Minecraft and Half-Life, he was also becoming fond of creating his own games.

His favorite place to travel was to his family’s hometown of Tuba City, where he requests to stay for his summer breaks away from school. While away from the City, Connor would feed the family horses, haul water, and could play outside all day. For his reason, our family has requested a private burial side service, where he will finally rest in his family’s quiet hometown of Tuba City, Arizona.

Connor recently attended a Barns Courtney Concert and was hopeful of what the future may bring. He recently made plans to finish high school and his dream job was to become a video game creator for VELV. With our deepest love,
