Never thought we would be writing this....
Tragically Barry - partner, father, son and friend to many. Passed away on Sunday the 1st of July, at the age of only 44, after fighting against pneumonia and a second stroke. To make this even harder, he suffered his first stroke only 4 months ago, to which his recovery had been going so well and everything was on the up.
Dad, a popular man with a lot of friends, who was well known in the local community through Elgin Endurance Club. Over his time with the club he and his right hand/one of his best friends had given money to various local charities and organisations, always trying their best to help others. From donating easter eggs to the childrens ward at Doctor Grays, to simply making other people laugh during hard times by always looking at the brighter side of things.
Since dad's passing, we've had loads of people offering to help pay for different things. So I made this page to make it easier, with everything being in 1 place. The money raised will go towards funeral expenses to give him the send off he deserves. Anything over and above those expenses will be donated to the stroke ward at Dr Grays, who went over and above for both dad and his family and friends during the time(s) he was there. Money will also be donated to Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland (CHSS)
We appreciate any donations as we know everyone has their bills to pay.
This is the last thing we expected to be doing, still can't believe that this is all real.
