In Memory of Baby Angelo

It's a wonderful feeling to know you are expecting a precious baby in just a few short months. Becoming a mother again and a father for the first time is a blessing. For Mayra and Ivan, their joy soon became worry when they recently found out their unborn son had developed complications of the heart, abdomen, lungs, and face that would put him in jeopardy the minute he would be born. Not losing faith, we hoped and prayed for a miracle as we anxiously awaited his arrival.
Mayra went into labor on Nov 29, 2016 in the early morning and after experiencing complications, she underwent an emergency c-section to bring Baby Angelo into this world safely. Baby Angelo was intubated due to the difficulty of breathing he would have from his undeveloped lungs and weak heart, and was admitted into the NICU for specialized care. He blessed us with his presence in our lives through the night, but as time passed, his heart got weaker despite all the Dr's efforts and went to be with the Lord just hours after his birth. Although it has left us confused, with lots of questions and doubts, we trust in God and know that he had a better plan for our little angel.
Today we ask for all the prayers we can get to help the family, especially his parents, get through such a difficult time, and if at all possible we would also like to ask for any donation possible to help us give him a proper burial. This loss has been an unexpected and sudden tragedy and his parents never imagined nor were they prepared for such a loss. All donations will go directly to Mayra and Ivan to cover the costs of the funeral and medical expenses. The family has inquired additional medical bills due to delivering in an out of network hospital with hopes that their advanced technology and equipment would be enough to save our little angel, Angelo.
