In Memory of Angenae Walker

Donation protected
Angenae Walker (2/6/97-2/7/19)  was raised by her adopted grandmother, Gertrude. Gertrude not only adopted Angenae, but her 4 other siblings as well, so they wouldn't have to grow up in separate homes. Angenae was a sweet, loving big sister and her 2 little sisters adored her. Angenae decided to make her own path in life at the age of 18. She worked many jobs and was able to get her high school diploma in the process. While she was living on her own, she still managed to keep in contact with her family and visited regularly.

On February 4, 2019, Angenae traveled from Seattle, WA to New Orleans, LA to celebrate her 22nd birthday with friends. The day after her birthday, she was murdered.

We are having a hard time not only processing this great loss, but navigating the financial aspect of it as well. Unfortunately, Angenae didn't have life insurance and the cost to transport someone from state to state exceeds our funds. We are humbly requesting donations to bring Angenae home so she can have the loving and beautiful send off that she deserves. No amount is too small. If you're unable to donate, please share so we can get the word out. We want to get her home as soon as possible.

Thank you,

The Walker Family
