In Memoriam of Wanda Arlene Vorhies

My grandmother was the strongest and most stubborn person I've ever met. Because of that, she was able to beat cancer four times; and to live her life to the fullest, depsite numerous health issues fighting against her. My grandmother was 89 years old when she passed away January 22, 2017; when her bone cancer finally won the battle. She went peacefully, and is now in heaven with my grandpa Donnie. She always said she was 'born in a hurry,' and that's how she lived her life. She was strong willed, and fought against life's challenges.
My grandma was also the most selfless person I've ever met. She was always more concerned about the well-being of those in her family, than to focus specifically on herself.
My grandma, Wanda, taught me to be courageous and determined to face life, even in the darkest of hours. She is sorely missed by those who were closest to her; but I'm happy that she is where she is meant to be, spending eternity with the love of her life, grandpa Donnie.
In the last few months of her life, my grandmother moved in with my mom and I, as she was unable to take care of herself anymore. She passed away with family, and I hope she knows how much she was loved.
She had a Will in place, but no life insurance. My mother and I are in the process of arranging her burial service. My grandmother did not want a funeral service, so instead, we have gone with her wishes to have her creamated. We would like to bury her in San Tan Memorial Gardens so that she will be closer for my mom and I to visit. We are unable to afford to put her in San Tan Memorial until my grandmother's finances are in place.
I am setting up this Gofundme page to ask for any support for funeral costs. She deserves to be put down to rest in a place peaceful and beautiful. My mom lost her job a few days before my grandma passed away, so our financial situation is not in the best state. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I will also be creating a memoriam page for my grandmother within the next few days, for friends and family members to pay their respects, since she did not want a formal funeral service.
