In loving memory of Yukino Gowgiel

Donation protected
Yukino Gowgiel passed away during childbirth on Friday, February 22nd, 2019 in Okinawa, Japan.

With her unexpected passing, she leaves behind her wonderful husband, United States Marine Corps Major Christopher Gowgiel, and two beloved daughters, Sora (3) and Yume (newborn).

To anyone that knew her, Yukino was the most loving and selfless person you could ever meet.  She was generous, angelic, and had a heart of gold.  The love she shared with her husband was of the kind you see in fairy tales; an epic and special kind of love.

Donations provided will be directly deposited into Christopher Gowgiel's account.  All funds will assist in memorial costs and miscellaneous family expenses. Please know that any donated amount, will tremendously help.

Thank you immensely for all of your love and support.

These are the words Chris posted on his Facebook account.
"On 22 February 2019 at 1632 I lost my best friend. My wife, Yukino Gowgiel, passed away giving birth to our little girl, Yume. I was gifted a beautiful healthy little girl but lost my wife all in the same day. There is nothing that can prepare you for something like this.

Yukino was an amazingly selfless person. Her happiness was contagious. Her smile had a way of making the worst days better. Yuki would have given anything to make our family happy. I could not have asked for a more beautiful person to have shared the past 11 years of my life. Our two girls, Sora and Yume, will know what an amazing mother they had. They will see her pictures, watch videos of her, and listen to stories growing up. I cannot thank her enough for everything she has taught me as a husband and a father.

I now have two beautiful girls to raise and I can only hope that they will grow to be as wonderful, patient, humble, caring, selfless, and loving as their mother. I will do everything I possibly can to ensure they are. I will give them every opportunity that I know Yukino and I would have wanted them to have. I can only hope to make to her as proud as I was to call her my wife.

I cannot put into words how much I will miss her every day. I cannot thank her enough for everything she has done for this family. I will always love you Yuki."
