In Loving Memory of Solomon Foster

Solomon William Leroy Foster passed away suddenly in the early hours of the day on July 26th, 2018. Solomon previously had multiple operations on his aorta, but that Thursday the doctors at Fletcher Allen were just not able to stop the bleeding. Solomon was just 41 years of age when he passed. The loss of Solomon so early in his life was an unimaginable tragedy to us all. 

We are all so fortunate to have known him for his short time on this earth. He was taken from us far too early, and will be missed tremendously not only by all of us, but by his only son, Ason William Leroy Foster, age 9. 

A funeral for Solomon was held on Sunday, August 19th at the South Fayston Cemetery. He was buried next to his mother, Bess Irmgard Bates who passed away in 1999. Following the funeral, friends and family gathered at the Big Picture Cafe in Waitsfield to celebrate his life.
