Mark Akiaten was greatly loved by all those that knew him. From his hometown of Whittier all the way up to San Francisco, Mark met and impacted many he encountered. Sadly, as a Veteran Marine he passed away this Veterans' Day Weekend unexpectedly. He was going to celebrate his 43rd birthday on November 30th.
To honor Mark's memory, a GoFundMe account has been started in hopes of collecting donations that will cover the expenses for a memorial service and cremation. For those who can donate to help Mark's family in this tremendously difficult time, your generosity is greatly appreciated.
Once the family has secured a venue for Mark's memorial, this page will be updated with the pertinent information for all those who wish to attend and celebrate Mark's life in his hometown of Uptown Whittier.
The memorial will be hosted by his brother, Mick and his Mother Theresa.
