In Loving Memory of Dermot Kenny

On Wednesday, November 7th, our beloved Dermot Kenny passed away unexpectedly. We, his family, are feeling the enormity of his loss & are left heartbroken.

 

We remember Dermot as a devoted husband, loving father, and a loyal friend to many. Known as a generous and gentle soul by all those who spent time with Dermot, he is survived by many loved ones. Dermot was a vibrant man, often breaking out the guitar at family gatherings to ensure a lively and laugh filled get together. He shared his passion for live music and the company of friends & family with his loving wife, my sister, Michelle Kenny. Michelle, his children - Lily & Ryan, and the rest of our family will cherish those moments when we think of Dermot and the special bonds he forged. Dermot was a true family man outside of work, creating happy memories with Michelle, Lily & Ryan. The love Dermot felt for Lily Rose & Ryan was unmatched and clear to anyone who knew him. From cheering his children on from the sidelines at sporting events to family vacations to Delaware, he and Michelle built a loving home together - passing down their love of music to their daughter Lily, who Dermot loved to watch sing, & Ryan who had already begun to learn how to strum the guitar from his father.

 

We have launched this GoFundMe in honor of Dermot’s memory, but more importantly as a lasting tribute for his children so that they may always know what a great man their father was and how loved he was by so many. All proceeds from this fundraiser will be used for the educational needs of Lily & Ryan in an effort to ensure that my sister, Michelle, does not carry the financial burden alone.
