This GoFundMe page is for Brandon Riedel’s wife Wendy and their two children and their unborn baby girl. Wendy is a stay-at-home mom, and unfortunately they had no life insurance when Brandon passed. With two children, and a high risk pregnancy, I wanted to reach out and get help for Wendy and their three children.
We lost Brandon suddenly on December 4, 2018, at the age of 37 years. Brandon was an amazing man, devoted husband to Wendy, cherished step-father to Carson (age 14), a beloved father to his two year old little girl Caroline (“daddy’s little princess”) and excited father to-be to his second baby girl due in the spring. Brandon was adored by his parents, looked up to by his younger brothers and loved by many family and friends.
I’m here writing to you because everybody asks, “What can I do?,” “How can I help?” This is how we can help this loving family who lost their whole world in an instant, is by helping them financially.
You can imagine the stress Wendy is going through because Brandon was so young and this was so unexpected, as we said we are still so in shock that we lost him. Wendy and Brandon did not have life insurance because they keep saying, “We will set it up tomorrow,” but tomorrow gets busy, so we’ll set it up tomorrow, and tomorrow never comes and now tomorrow never will.

All of those who were blessed to be part of Brandon’s family and friends knows how much he unconditionally loved those around him. Brandon was the kind of guy that would pull over and help a perfect stranger. Brandon had a way of making everyone feel special and shared a great smile and laugh with all who were blessed to be around him. He opened his heart and home to many and never said an ill word about anyone. He was positive, kind, a hard worker and a great provider. My wish is that Brandon hears from Heaven all of us thinking of the good times we shared, and I pray he knows we are doing all we can to help his wife and children in there time of sorrow as they mourn the loss of this amazing man.
My family and I have been friends with Wendy for 15 years, and we have had the pleasure of being part of Wendy and Brandon's family - watching their amazing love story grow.
We are so shocked at the sudden loss of our beloved Brandon.
This is supposed to be the happiest time of their lives, we just celebrated their daughter’s 2nd birthday a week before we lost him. Brandon and Wendy were so excited to see Caroline be old enough to enjoy all the joys of Christmas. They were excited because Wendy’s baby bump is getting bigger and baby girl’s kicks are getting stronger, and Brandon just couldn’t wait to feel his baby girl kick in his loving wife’s belly. He was so happy to get his family Christmas pictures done of him holding his princess Caroline in his arm, with his hand on his wife’s baby belly and his main man Carson by his side.
The night before we lost Brandon, they were looking forward to the holidays, enjoying time with family and friends. Imagining what next Christmas would bring with two little princesses around the Christmas tree. But all that suddenly changed overnight when Wendy woke to the love of her life dead. Her whole world has changed in an instant and now their hopes and dreams and secure future for their family has died with Brandon.
Wendy’s focus now has to change to survival-mode for her daughters and son.
Brandon was the sole provider in their family and Wendy has a high-risk pregnancy and cannot go to work to help their family financially.
I pray this help relieves some of the stress off of her in this time of sorrow as she grieves the loss of her husband, best friend and loving father to her children.
