Tristan's Army is inviting you to honour the legacy of our beloved superhero...
It is with heavy hearts we announce the tragic passing of Tristan Damasio, age 5, on June 30th, 2018. Please join us as we raise money to support the Damasio family through this incredibly painful time, to help unburden them of financial stress while they grieve the loss of their son and give them the freedom of time to heal.  Any donation  of any amount is blessed and treasured. All proceeds raised will go towards funeral arrangements and medical bills accrued during the course of their son's lengthy battle with DIPG. Thank you for your love, prayers and support during this time of unbelievable heartache.

Surrounded by his family in the comfort of his home, Tristan gained his wings on Saturday June 30, 2018 in the loving arms of his mother and father, at the age of 5.  Cherished son of Cody and Marie Damasio.  Adored big brother of Amelie. 

Tristan was most known for his bravery and strength during his three year battle with DIPG brain cancer. Although, his family and friends know him most for his tenderness, loving nature, silliness and sweet disposition. Tristan spent his days, loving life, seeking adventure in travel and fun, collecting his most prized toys, and catching Pokemon. With a mission to “catch them all” he also captured the hearts of everyone who was blessed enough to meet him and be inspired through his journey. 

Tristan will be deeply missed but the lessons he taught us all about true compassion, bravery and unwavering faith in his ability to overcome obstacles, will live on in the hearts of everyone who loved him. Even in the darkest of days facing this terrible disease, our superhero fought with positivity and found the joy in every moment. “Be happy, life’s good” “You can always find a way” words to live by from the Bravest Boy ever known.

The entire Damasio and Bikich Family would like to express their gratitude for the support and love shown during Tristan’s courageous battle. Those who were touched by Tristan’s beautiful but brief life are invited to attend the services in celebration of all he was and will forever be. 

Visitation will be held in Hamilton at Bay Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, 4 July 2018 between the times of 2:00 - 4:00 pm, and 6:00 - 8:00 pm.

Mass and Celebration of life will be held on Thursday, 5th of July at Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church. 135 Livingston Avenue in Grimsby. Mass will be held at 11:00 am
