As the world leans more to invention and innovation, the search for knowledge grows deeper by day. Not very many people are willing to share their stories as much as they are there.
In Uganda, few people have put their experiences into writing. Their stories are only shared verbally and to smaller audiences.
In 2015, Dickson Mushabe launched his story to the public in his book #Imnotsorryformymistakes.
In his book, he willingly tells his story of how he strongly went on to address the fear of failure, a challenge to many today as it were ten years ago when he started out.
His book is a readers’ manual to entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship is one of the subjects taught in the secondary school curriculum that was introduced in 2008. This was around the same time when Dickson had launched out as an entrepreneur.
His book is an addition to the relevant scholastic materials needed in the teaching/study of entrepreneurship both as a subject as well as a career.
This book would be an exceptional resource to many, especially to students especially in primary, secondary and tertiary schools and universities to prepare and equip them for the world ahead.
Dickson has been generous since his book was launched. He has donated more than 250 books todate. The need is much greater though. We are starting a global cause; a cause that will enable Dickson to distribute books to schools and some less privileged youths who can’t afford to buy the book. Our goal is to raise US$12,000 to purchase 2,000 books that will donated to schools and universities across the country.
