Iman and her brother, Bowie, were the only two survivors of a litter of five, and their mother. Iman and Bowie were rescued from the Yangon Animal Shelter in Myanmar. Iman has even been photographed for and featured on Kombucha Dog!
Last March, Iman and her brother were flown to California in search of their forever homes. This was made possible by the hard work of my friends at the Yangon Animal Shelter and Dogs Without Borders rescue.
Bowie has been adopted by a really nice dentist living in LA. They are so happy together. Iman is in foster care now, but will soon be adopted as well. She just has to get her knee fixed first! You see, she has a luxating patella, where her knee joint pops out of place and it's hard for her to walk. She will need surgery for this problem and she is wondering if you could help her out?
