Imana Gunawan - moonshine Cabaret

Hello friends! I am Imana Gunawan, a Texas-born Indonesian, a storyteller, multimedia journalist, dance artist, and creative director. I'm directing and producing a new cabaret performance entitled moonshine, to premiere on August 16 as part of the Nights at the Neptune summer series at the Neptune Theater. I am directing the incredible creative forces of more than 10 QTPOC and womxn artists for this FREE community event, and I definitely need your help to make it happen!
moonshine will feature choreography and direction by Imana Gunawan, dance performance by Au Collective, costumes by Hallie Scott, visuals by Anissa Amalia, and new music by Seattle's best - Donte "DaQween" Johnson, Emma Lee Toyoda, and CarLarans - all produced by LUNA GOD. Catering will be provided by That Brown Girl Cooks! and all alcohol profits will go to our wonderful hosts at the historic Neptune Theater.
Since this is a FREE event, any contributions you can give will go directly to paying the artists and the costume materials.
We have been able to raise funds privately, but we need to bridge the last gap to make sure all artists are being compensated fairly! This production is under the fiscal sponsorship of Au Collective, so all donations are tax deductible. Any amount is helpful and appreciated and will be met with infinite gratitude.
Breakdown:
Dancer and musician fees: $2000
Costume materials: $500
Total to be raised: $2500
PERKS:
$25 or over: Social media shoutout with a cute boomerang/video
$50 or over: Thank you card from the moonshine cast (+ shoutout)
$100 or over: Original print signed by the moonshine cast (+ thank you card + shoutout)
$300 or over: Invitation to showing + original EDITORIAL ZINE featuring photographs, writing, and rituals incorporated into the creative process (+ all the previously mentioned perks!)
